So interesting! Loved seeing the scenery. My great grandfather’s family settled in Whanganui from Wales when he was seven. He came to the U.S. as a young man and stayed otherwise I might have been a New Zealander! Sure would love to visit someday!
Very nice to see the mountains, valley, lake and desert all in one trip. It takes such a long time to travel to our Rocky mountains, 5 days drive for me from Southern Ontario. However, our lakes are much closer, as we are a city on Lake Ontario, one of 5 great lakes. TFS. Have fun!
