Amazing how you dominate courses that are so tight with the landing areas, this reminds me of that jungle course you played in HI. That cousre vlog from that jungle course is still the most insane display of awesome golf skills I've ever seen.
Love the course vlogs. Nothing better than living vicariously through watching your rounds when the weather is bad and can’t get out to play this weekend.
This course looks absolutely amazing and peaceful. Wow. I couldn't imagine teeing off around 6-7am in the morning and just having such a quiet, peaceful round...whoever thought youd have a Par 4 hole you use a sand wedge off the tee box LOL
zac...i know i have talked to you about this before, but just wanted to say how much i appreciate your attitude and on course demeanor. as i sit here and watch, and think about when I am trying to play well, and score..how much I would struggle talking into the camera on each tee box and stuff...it is a talent that not all can handle well..to be able to play great golf, and maintain great awareness and attitude on camera. keep up the great work.
Really like the course vlogs, they're your bread and butter. Your positive mentality is what is most infectious. Combined with your insightful course management commentary, it's given me a new lease on golf
Welcome to Western NC, Zac! Hope you enjoyed every second! I live about 30 minutes from Linville in Bakersville. Next time you’re in town you should check out Wolf Laurel Country Club where I’m currently working. We’ve got some pretty crazy elevation changes from 3,600 up to over 4,800 feet! It’s a very similar tight mountain course with some beautiful views as well. We’d love to have you out! Keep up the great content, sir!
@@ZacRadford enjoy all the content but course vlogs specifically. Found you on instagram a few years back and happy i did! Need to get you out to Northern Mi
Zac I was not disappointed after the wait. What a course! You need a caddie for the front and a Sherpa for the back. Tough course to play without knowing the exact layout. Great round. Keep stinging it sir!
Beautiful video zac, like playing in a rain forrest. Also the camera shot of you taking your 1 st putt on 18 with the sun coming through was stunning. I can also see you are getting through the ball better zac. Its not squirting out to the right as much. -2 for 18 was an exellent score. Very steady golf with quite a few more looks at birdie. All in all a super video. Really enjoyed it.👍.
Gold Canyon Golf Resort, the Dinosaur Course! You're up and down hills, canyons and some of the coolest holes that I have played. Some of Tee Boxes have you looking out over a Vista and the fairway is 100 ft. below you! Some holes a just freeking spectacular! It was a long time ago when I played the course...and I would have loved using my present clubs instead of my set of Wilson Staff Fluid Feel Irons and my persimmon MacGregor woods! ( All of which I still own! )
Geeez, that about the coziest lil course I've ever seen, that place looks like some magical golf elves would come out and help you with your game. Lol. Hey good content, best content is always anything competition wise, and great content would be some tournament play, ... take us on a 1 or 2 day event vlog.
Zac want to thank you for the advice you gave me about getting a 60° wedge. I got one about two weeks ago now and so far I am satisfied with it. That course looks great sure would be a tough one to walk!! I love elevated tee shots. I like the course vlog videos.
Really cool course here Zac. One hole to rival the 18th on this course in terms of narrowness is the double-dogleg par 5 8th hole at Alderbrook Golf Club in Union, WA.
My summer home course. Great video ! Update on score...#14 is a two shot penalty for going over trees on the dogleg...#16 is a par 4 so a birdie there...final score was 1 under...Great round !
my in laws live on the 5th fairway of that golf course and I played it for the 1st time this past weekend. I thought number 17 was a joke until I birdied it and now I love it.
If you ever come to play golf in Japan, that’s basically what most courses look like here. Mostly located in the mountains, a lot of elevation, deep woods around the fairways and ob left and right. Very tough but beautiful (and the food is amazing^^)
Zac, A very cool back nine. Seems like every tee shot is very tricky. A great deal of risk, reward. It seems like you get a workout just walking with a bag on this nine. Super fun course. It would be tough to play this on any day that is not cool, not humid. I would be gasping for air.
Another great round Zac. I was praying that you wouldn't get abducted by a Sasquatch. I'm recommending that course for next Horror film location. If I ever get chance to play it, I will definitely not be looking for balls I tend to spray into the woods.😃
I definitely like the course Vlogs, but love the matches you play the best. I can’t wait to see you and George Bryan play. Keep up the great content!!!
Nice Zac, I am from the Netherlands, but love seeing the matches. The course vlogs are amazing, Hawaï my God.....and Utah. An idea for content, a 2 course match. A links course and a park course....who wins??
Cheers from Nashville and so awesome to hear you enjoy the content! Thanks so much for the idea and will definitely keep that in mind for future vids 👊
I’ve played here maybe 15-20 times. For what it’s worth, you actually finished -2 on the back, -3 total. The 208 yard 16th you called a par 3, actually par 4. Your first putt was for eagle, 2nd was for bird. You’re better than you thought!
Cool course Zac , great shooting out there. This course reminds me of Hidden Valley in the PNW, first nine of soft and flat. Back nine hilly and tough with lots of doglegs and decision making.
Fantastic video good sir. You played amazing. While the course is super awesome and I love the elevation, being from Kansas flat-land golf, I really dislike the hidden hazards. Maybe there is a course planner that shows where the hazards are, but c'mon now...at least make the hazards visible for people. Maybe since I'm a high handicapper I don't see the attraction of hidden stuff like that. It's always discouraging to me when I do hit a good shot, look, and look, and look for the ball only to assume it must have gone in the hazard. That doesn't make the game fun. But that's just an opinion. However if I were a local member, probably a totally different story. I would love all those challenges.
I re-watch this video. It is really great and very interesting on course management not to mention the quality of the course... and the game. You know what ? I would have really loved to see you play the Winged Foot golf course "US open" setup. Erik Anders Lang was invited and really struggled. I am sure you would have managed it far better 👊
Man that’s an awesome looking track, would love to play there some day. Great round Zac! How about a WITB video, or did you just recently do one of those, I forget.
First time watching your channel. What a awesome course. I live in the mountains of Pa and my home course is a mountain course with tight fairways and lots of ups and downs but nothing like that. You hit a pretty good ball. Great round. Plus as i looked through the comments you liked or replied to all the ones i saw good stuff. Gonna hit that subscribe and really see what your all about. Keep it up.
There used to be a similar hole to this on a course I learned to play on (sadly it is under homes now). It was 230 yards with a mean left dogleg. With a crazy right to left ball you could make eagle or end up in some old ladies kitchen.
My home course had a 555 opening hole with a severe left dogleg--it went way downhill off the tee, then all the way back up to the green. In the old days, you could cut the corner and end up with a long iron--left was OB. But then with the new equipment, you could airmail it over the 18th green and have a wedge left. They didn't like it--it was forbidden because you'd always hit into the next group and were hitting straight over the heads on 18. But I almost drove it once--about 30 yards left. Weird hole. The new equipment changed things, I think, for the worse. Hitting 350 drives ruined for character of so many holes.
I think the 17th at the seaview marriot might be shorter than the 17th at this course. I think its only around 95 yds or something. The LPGA plays that course for the shoprite classic ( i dont know if its still called that ) but the ladies have a tough time with that course. They play the bay side but the pines course is also a great course. Two great courses and a very nice facility down there in South New Jersey!!!
