I also have a Santana 2500 from 1990. Engine 2.5 j12, transmission is a 4 speed like in the series 3.

We call these pre-defenders in the UK. They are becoming very rare and are desirable as they can be insured under a classic policy which is much cheaper then a defender. I believe they had the 2.5 N/A lump which evolved into the 200tdi.

And they are shorter than a defender they are the same size of the series 3 also they have parabolic springs which is an upgrade from leaf springs, the ride is quite comfortable and in performance are really close to coil springs.

Do you have a paint service for Santanas, i love the color combination of all your Santanas. I would be worth it for me to take my Santana and take it from sigonella Sicily to where you at in Spain and my in laws lives in El Puerto next to Rota

Hello my name is Víctor I am from Spain and i have a Land Rover Santana 2500 DL of 1989 and i would like to change the drumps os rear axle for a disc but here i cannot find anything, could you help me please

¿Por que le ha cambiado las aletas delanteras al Santana 2500 DC, con sus focos delanteros mas centrados, y los pilotos delanteros rectangulares de luces de posición mas intermitente o giro, y los pilotos traseros cuadriformes, así como su piloto de marcha atrás en color blanco, y el de luz antiniebla en color rojo, los dos de forma cuadrada? Ahora es un Santana 2500 DC disfrazado exteriormente de Land Rover Defender, el Santan 2500 DC o DL, es mucho mejor que un Defender 90" o 110" para el Off Road, por su esquema clásico de suspensiones motor y caja reductora, como pieza original es muy difícil de encontrar a un Santana 2500 DC, ya que se fabricaron poquísimos, en comparación al Land Rover Defender, y otra cosa, no es Land Rover Santana 2500, es solamente Santana 2500 DC, cuando Santana saco a la venta su Serie IV en el año 1988, Land Rover ya estaba totalmente desligada de Santana Motor, por eso todos sus productos a partir de entonces, solamente son Santana, como los Santana 2500 DC y 2500 DL, los Santana 3500, y los Santana 2.5 DC y 2.5 DL, mas tarde en el año 2002 el Santana PS-10 Aníbal, y mas tarde también, ya sin Suzuki, los Santana 300 y 350, sobre la base de los Suzuki Santana Vitara de 3p y 5p, por ultimo ya con Iveco, los Iveco Santna Massif, y el Fiat Campagnola de 3p del año 2009, aunque también se seguía fabricando el Santa Aníbal 2 Militar para el ejercito Español, y la matricula trasera de su Santana 2500 DC me sugiere decirle !VIVA SAN FERMIN! Ya falta menos para el 2021.
