Ahh, this is awesome! Despite being over 3 decades ago, I remember some of the ads so clearly. Loved the aesthetic and vibe - pop culture was so positive and exciting in the 80s/90s, especially regarding technology. Thanks for uploading!
I remember with the KFC family they did a catch up with them back in 200? and they were just chosen actors and not real family members, anyhow they all showed up for the catchup and the boy didnt show up as he was in jail
That's just nostalgia kickin' in, although I do really believe that old ads are better. There's just something about the audio and visuals that gives off a peculiar, feel-good sensation. I believe this sensation were present from the 50's to around the early 2000's.
@@apeculiarmingvase3800 Advertising is reflective of the time it's shown in. The fashion, the music, the colours etc, even the voiceover/actors. That's what your missing. It all reminds you of those times. That's why I think ads are essential viewing for those wanting a nostalgia hit or even those wanting to see what it was like back then. I was too young in 1990, but ads from around 91, 92 are when my memories kick in. I'll always have fond memories for that old Channel 2.
Or realist? The demographic has certainly shifted massively. Are you denying that? Or were you not here to know? My late uncle looked fully Indian, his dad was, mother Scottish, and him 100% kiwi. But rare in those days, for sure, RIP, Ray.
