The rare debut CD from Indianapolis sax player Tom Borton. Influenced by some of David Sanborn or Tom Scott efforts during the era, Tom Borton knows how to combine slickness and pop appeal with jazz sensibilities and a healthy sense of spontaneity. A few cuts received a bit of airplay back in the day, including "Wherever You Are" and "Looking For A Way," before being lost to time and somewhat forgotten. I picked up this one back in the mid 90s at a local CD store. "Photoland" is one of my go-to tracks on this one...
