Christmas was great when I was a kid now my mum has gone in 2006 and so many other people I know so watching these ads brings back found moments

These are a new Christmas tradition for me, tbh. Since about 2-3 years ago, the pre-Christmas period feels weird without these. Absolutely appreciate this being a continuing thing and thank you so much for what you do. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and as Happy a New Year as you could have.

"...With added basting fat." That's an interesting way of making a Safeway roast that's full of fat sound like it's a feature. :-)

Back when you could go to the shops for a bit of shopping, pop in the pub for a quick pint and a pie then back to finishing the gift buying. Go to the family Christmas lunch and swap gifts with loved ones. Like a different world compared to xmas 2020.

Look how big the Quality street tins are ? Now you are lucky if you get a handful of sweets in them . Plus they have taken out some of the best sweets .And left the horrible one's in.

Back when Christmas was magical it’s now too commercialised now all about money and who gets their kids the biggest pile of presents and who spends the most,in the eldest of 8 siblings and every year we all got told to choose toys from the catalogs up to £100 so in the eighties that was £800 that was big money back then it got us loads ❤️
