Salutations! The Epiphone Les Paul Custom came out pretty decent, it looks great, and sounds nearly the same as your Gibson. I added a newer Epiphone Les Paul Custom to my collection a few years ago, it has an ebony fretboard and has binding on the top and bottom of the guitar, it’s white and it looks and sounds great. I have no plans to add another pickup to it, however, I do plan on adding an Epiphone Peter Frampton Signature Les Paul Custom to my collection sometime in the near future. I currently have about a dozen Les Paul guitars, two of which are Gibsons and the rest are Epiphones, and in my opinion, the Epiphone guitars are an excellent instrument for the price, I have several that were built in the Samik factory in South Korea, they are well made and play and sound great. I haven’t had a chance to check out one from Japan yet, I hear that they’re not currently exporting them because they cannot keep up with the demand there now, Fenders from Japan are also not currently being exported for the same reason, however, if you know someone there, you could potentially get one shipped to the USA. With the advent of CNC machines, it is very easy for manufacturers to set up and produce guitars virtually identical to ones made here in America. Currently, guitars built in China are having issues with exporting rosewood, so it is not a problem to get guitars with ebony fretboards, but instead of rosewood, they will either use pao ferro, or Indian laurel, however, they are still decent instruments. I hope you enjoy your guitars for many years! Thank you for posting this video! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ☀️✨🎸
That guitar looks amazing and it sounds amazing, I didn’t realize there’s a lot of steps to do this kind of conversion, thanks for giving the details on how to do this, keep them coming👍😀 , Also, the solo for the kiss song is great
@@Edward1312 Thank you very much, The guitar came out great. again, I know I gave alot of details (lol), but there are some people who would love to have a Les paul with 3 pick ups, but don't know what to do or how to get it done and I would hate to see someone do it incorrectly and lose money - Thanks for checking out the video, I hope you enjoy some of the other Demo videos or the shorts that are on my channel. Thanks Bobby
You're not gonna get a bad sound out of a les Paul with super distortions unless you're using an mxr distortion plus. Get an evh 5150 since they sound alot like Marshall's just with more clarity
you are not being mean, at the last minute that song came to my head for something to play, but honestly I have not heard that song in a long time, so I know it was missing something from the way I was playing it and I wanted something easy to riff on, so I could go back & forth with the 2 different guitars for everyone to hear if there was a difference in guitar sounds
