You keep posting bikes like this you’re going to owe me a new phone because I keep drooling all over mine.

Man! When I bought mine it had all stock parts with sick HRC wrap on the tank and shrouds. Rode it for a year and tore it down and rebuilt the whole thing. Original silencer was replaced with a pro circuit. Added the works connection frame guards, new o-ring chain, replaced the rear tire with metzeler mb5 mudder- I think. This was back in 96-97. Ahh the memories. Those two ding in the pipe look 👀 familiar! Sold it to a guy from southern NY.

Owned a 91 that I single tracked in the woods of the NW. If you haven't ever ridden a big bore 2 stroke, you owe it to yourself to experience it. They are so much fun. My most memorable motorcycle ever.

Bought my '91 new off the showroom floor from Cycles of Palm Beach in Florida. Raced it until 1997. Tim(Red Dog) Ferry's Dad set up my suspension front and rear. Put a FMF Gold Pipe and Boyesen reed set and it went like crazy. I miss those days! Kaplan America, thank you for your contribution to preserving all these great machines from the past.

I can see you guys LOVE the CR500. That bad boy is the beast! The 91 is such a pretty bike. I think that's also the Robbie Knievel bike you guys have eh? I'd love to go up there to see you guys. My family has been in the motorcycle business since the 60s, and the 90s bikes were so cool. The graphics were amazing! I have never ridden a CR500, but I have been around them a lot. Enjoyed the video blogs you were doing so we could get to know you better. Thanks for all you do for the motorcycle world. You're keeping this history alive!

I was looking for used 250 in 1995 local dealership had two 91 CR 500 leftovers they couldnt sell them and they almost was begging me to buy one and I turned it down man I kick myself now could had bought one way under dealer cost

If you where going to put together a matching set a 125, 250 and a 500 what’s the best year to chose?

I would love to have a poster of all the big bikes that's ever been made from the mid 70s to 2001... Honda, Kawasak,i Suzuki, KTM, husqvarna, cagiva, gas gas, Maico cause at all these have made some big bore bikes that were wicked!! I had a husqvarna WR400 an it was a beast an rode a 430 which was a brute... Do you guys know if they make such a poster?

That was my first brand new bike bought it in 1992 it was in the crate paid $3,000 for it year and a half later traded it in on a brand new 1994

Check out the forks,crazy how new it is,must have been over a smooth field a few times and that's it,Totally CHERRY.

Ok who makes the best reproduction plastics I have a 91 wrong colours what to bring it back to near as possible looking but don’t want to blow my money of trash repo - I don’t know who sells the better ones, originals are out of the question can’t find them and the ones out there are not perfect
