Me too, this was my first ever PSU game as a student. I had no idea what I was getting myself into for my life! Go PSU!

Meanwhile, back in Happy Valley...

First football game I ever saw in person. I have this on VHS somewhere, I'll have to see if I can find it an convert it to DVD.

I was at this game, a Penn State student who happens to be from Cincinnati. Of course, I was rooting for my school team. As the afternoon wore on, my friends and I watched in disbelief as Penn State continued to score touchdowns, We felt sorry for UC. "This is beyond pathetic," said the guy next to me. I understand Paterno told the PSU defense to ease off UC. "Let 'em score a touchdown, go out with some dignity." The PSU defense DID ease off, but UC STILL couldn't score! What an embarrassment!

This was the first PSU game I was at. I remember the game well and I watched it on Channel 10 in Altoona that night. I converted that VHS tape to DVD.

This was rock bottom for Cincinnati it is nice to see that they made it to two BCS games in the last decade.

We started tailgating for this game at 9am. It was such a nice day that we stayed tailgating at the start of the game. I told myself I would go in at the end of the first quarter. Then it was 17-0 so I said I would go in at the Half. Then it was 40-0 and I was like screw it, I'll just stay here and party. We had lots of food and a full keg and the game on the radio so never made it into the stadium.

@LMCMInterloper But on the bright side, 1991 was a great season overall. It ended with losing to Tennessee for two and a half quarters then running up points like a cash register.
