The situation with the smog pump / air pump wasn’t fun. The mechanic shop I use couldn’t find one so they had me helping them find one. All I could find for the 3.1 V6 was used parts on eBay. Why would I install someone else’s old junk. We resolved the problem by just bypassing the smog pump / air pump. You will have to reroute the belt. Watch this video to see which belt I used.
