@user-bh6up4gk4s Yes, it's very costly and difficult to register your car in California. I have registered over six diesel grey market Cruisers and G-classes in California, but these days it's almost impossible to do so. Plus, it will cost you around $9,989 to process it through the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and the third-party lab inspection on conversion, which is all extra money for California government.

My HDJ80 was imported from South America just like Spain requires LHD. Got mine from a guy who imports them call Mud Connection in Arkansas.
