Of all the Mothra films, this is my favorite for two reasons. The singing and how ADORABLY FLUFFY they portrayed Mothra. Who else wants a Mothra plushie?
@@KevinGhidor_uh I'm really not sure of something... did these singers or the Peanuts(who sang the original version) do it best? Hmm... neither had Indonesian as their native tongue.
1:51 - 2:13. This scene is both majestic, yet very dark when you think about it. The Cosmos beautifully sing to Mothra as she comes to their aid, while she ends so many lives on that battleship and swims through a barrier of fire.
More even than that, we see the goddess of nature swimming through intentionally spilled and ignited oil in the ocean. They tried to stop the guardian of the earth with an ecological disaster.
and i am 55, grew up living Godzilla movies, all the remakes hold up and are spectacular, thank you for keeping true to the faith. I raised 3 Sons on Godzilla too.

But there is an English translation for it that's just as good as in japanese and idk I like the new mothra but that's the american one I'm waiting to see if Mothra will make an appearance along side the now current Japanese Godzilla

As a child watching this for the first time, this song has given me goosebumps as it still does. It is absolutely beautiful and I don't even have to understand what they're singing!! Thank you to whoever uploaded this!!
Aside from the difference in coloration I loved this version of Mothra as a great tribute to the original Mothra from the Showa era and still is a great tribute to the Queen of the Monsters.
I just can't imagine a better fairies' ,not only of the shobjin species but overall , performance than the one given by the ravishing beautiful keiko Imamura and Sayaka Osawa as Cosmos in this 1992 Godgillla franchise ; these girls are light years more convincing as fairies than all others featured not only as the Mothra attendants but as similar creatures in all fairies -related movies.
Can you imagine how Long it took these two to be that in synch with each other, I mean the HOURS they must have put in for their roles to sound this AWESOME
I'm actually quite suprised that this song is actually in Indonesia. I've listen to it many times and never realized it despite being Indonesian. I heard only a little bit such as "Berkatilah hamba-hamba-Mu yang" in the beginning.
From what I understand when Toho started working on this movie with the 2 girls who play the fairies one isn't even Japanese and that they had a hard time with the lip synching with the 2 girls whenever they sang but still they did a great job.
The sound of Mothra's song is similar to the song "am I to blame for what I love" from the Soviet film Clouds over Borsk. The first film about Godzilla, where Mothra's song was played, dates back to 1961, and clouds over Borsk was released in 1960.
As my mother always said: Mothra, Godzilla and other japanese Monsters are not evil. Most of the time they are either pissed because of what the Humans did to their home, like Godzilla or - like Mothra - just have to pass through the city. A few thousand years ago when she was born there was no Tokyo in this place.
That’s so beautiful I never heard it before but now I’m hearing now even though I heard it in someone else’s channel but that’s the most beautiful song I ever heard
When I was a kid I didn't know this movie name I think 2002 or 2005. This song was my favourite song but I don't know this meaning. Now 2021 I got this movie from youtube. This song reminder my childhood life.
The lyric language is indonesian The writers using indonesia cause they want everyone who is hear that song its like magic spell and the island where is the mothra lives inspired by beuatiful island of indonesia
I remember this song from my childhood. I was watching it in 1990th+ year. Just nostalgic..) hello from Chechen. With love from Kazakhstan, Karagandy.)🌺
After watching godzilla minus one today I'm hoping that they bring mothra into the second movie and it better look exactly the same . Both forms.. and they better have the twins singing this song
im still remember this song after looong loong a go, when I was a kid, I left home because my mother scolded me and im watching this movie in theater alone ..this is insane I miss the memories of that time T.T
