Best band of the 90s they were totally different from everything else going on back then I liked alot of bands from that era but blind melon stand above the rest
Nirvaner my fave!.... melon is 2nd!!! Next ink I'm getting is the blind melon sun sticker I think it was! I'm getting the bands of the sun in green and the short ones in orange. Tribute to the last greatest rock n roll band ever and motá also!!!
The light that was made very dim by the loss of Shannon Hoon on 10/21/95, was so intense it could light a stadium, today, almost 30 yrs. later. His aura, energy, talent, & stage presence was an amazing sight to see first hand, & I was blessed, indeed, 10/12/93. His ability to keep me fixated on Him with a magnetism and ownership of the crowd is the same kind of special I've witnessed in Randy Rhoads, Michael Hedges, Jerry Garcia, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Edward Van Halen, & when I saw Steve Vai, 3 days after Frank Zappa passed. This band and their music is so bad ass it has stood the test of time & always will deliver rock and roll ecstasy in it's purest raw form. We named our 2nd child Shannon, if that gives you any idea of the impact He had on Us. May He rest as He would have wanted.
This vibe, this energy, this sound, Shannon’s amazing voice and stage presence … Wow, I am hypnotised, what a gem 💎❤️ Long live Blind Melon ! Rest in Peace, Sweet Shannon 🤍
I'd really love to have got into that mans head. His energy, spirit, and talent was absolutely amazing. One of THE most underrated talents of the century.

What a great problem we had in the 90s us Gen X people; we had so much great bands on all genres; a great band like Blind Melon was just a little example, you did not had enough time to discover all the great music that was being produced. Now in 2023 i am discovering some of that lost music to my ears;
Apparently Axel Rose grew up and lived in the same area in Indiana as Shannon Hoon. Must be something in the water out there cause both these dudes had some seriously great vocals.
Whoever posted this thank you so damn much. I've spent 10 yrs looking for footage. Long story short I've met his mom and grandma vernie at his grave multiple times. I have the woodstock 94 of them on set and it's a whole badass DVD I've never found another copy. So ya I traded with the fan that had this on CD and we agreed to come back a year later to the Vigilstock that used to be held every Sept if you didn't know. I am so damm stoked to finally see this. I'm in a rough spot in life and absolutely needed this
A lot of people throw them into a jam Band category but this is a well reheased band right here! Spot on the album version!! Loved this band! Still do✌🏻

What a fucking amazing show! I would’ve given anything to have been one of the people in the crowd. Unfortunately I was five years old at the time of this show. Shannon and the band are so amazing together. Shannon has such a fantastic stage presence and he is so phenomenally talented. I just can’t put into words how much I love this band. Thank you for uploading. Watching this made my night.
@@terracobb6149 same here got to see all the good shows when I was young, Blind Melon, Nirvana STP, GnR, Pearl Jam, Korn, Alice in chains, Soundgarden, Metallica, Megadeth, RHCP, Tea Party, Bush, Tragically Hip, Ozzy, Manson
I always thought this would be, the land of milk and honey, but I come to find out it's all hate and money... They were tight af !!! The best musicians of the times... Chris knew it, why he was so critical of his peers!!!
"that's a funny story, don't everyone laugh at once" (28:51) lol hope shannon got his wallet back. I wonder if the footage of him crowdsurfing is on here anywhere
Shannon era incrível! Que voz, que presença, que alma linda!! Amo Blind Melon, a voz de Shannon tem me trazido a força que preciso nos meus piores dias. Amo além da vida! ❤❤
