@@forgotmylogininfo They usually come with the radio. If you do not have one, i'd stop by your local audio shop to see if one is available for your specific radio. If not, ebay is great source to find one that works with your specific radio.
Yeaa I just messed up because I followed his link and now my customer won't be able to go to the beach with music. Really not happy. They shouldn't put a link unless they know for sure. Thank you for pointing this out at least
Nice truck!! So how do I remove a aftermarket radio? I’m doing a dash repair, do I use the clips or do I just stick something in to push the pins to the sides?
Howdy I need some help. I have the exact same truck and it already had a aftermarket head unit. I decided to replace it since it was old and I hooked up all the wiring with connectors and everything but I have no power to the radio at all. Any tips would help! I’ve already checked the black ground wire and it’s on there good. I’m just really confused bc the old radio worked just fine.
Appreciate your video. Thank you. Has been nearly 6 years since your install. Is this *7 Inch Flip-Out Touch Screen Car DVD Player "Passion" Radio still doing well? We have a 95 Eddie Bauer Bronco and looking for a radio replacement. Installed a crutchfield Excelon about 15 years back ..never been too happy with it. Looks like u have a great setup. Thanks for your video. jP in Florida.
Good Channel, could you guide me on what bass I put on a 1996 f-250 single cab so that it can be heard well since the space is small in advance I hope for an answer thanks
My issue is that i bought a 95 f250 with a newer radio already put in. However there is no sound coming from front speakers only back ones. I messed with the balance thing and still nothing. I took apart door panel and pulled speaker out and wires are connected to it. I also checked fuses. I'm stumped as how to do anything else or why the back words but not the front
@@acemaddox7027 i figured it out. I was right all along. When i removed door panel i saw an electrical clip thing not connected to anything. I showed it to all my guy friends and they dismissed it. Turned out i was right....its what the speakers were plugged into before someone had an amp then took it out upon selling the truck.
How do you completely bypass the factory amp? The left side has gone silent on my 1994 Bronco even after I installed a new unit using the original amp. I am thinking after 28 years it may have just given up. Before I start cutting the harness up and I really do not want to have to crawl up under the dash and remove the amp but will if necessary, is there an easy bypass solution? I cant seem to locate the output harness from the amp. Only thing I can see with it installed are the inputs....any suggestions will be helpful.
We din't bypass the amp, we used it in the video. If you want to bypass it, You either will need to run new speaker wire, or pull the harness out of the factory amp and use the Metra 70-5514 bypass harness adapter: amzn.to/3wj9dKJ
I have a 96 f250. I have already installed mine. I can't push it all the way in due to screen hit the dash as this one did. I noticed this install it did hit the dash. Would that over time break screen mechanism when it doesn't go all the out.
No, but it may be worth putting in some sort of spacer around the radio so it doesn't sit all the way back, allowing the screen to pop out without interference. The Metra Electronics 89-30-3900 is a simple spacer to help with that issue.
Provo Beast Audio Installation in your install. The screen came but if you look at the silver hinge at the base of the screen is hitting the dash. It does the same thing on mine. If you was to pull out the radio about 2 in. That screen can tilt another inch or so. There a way to adjust it.
Would it be a bad thing for me to use a dedicated amp to run my car speakers if I may already have a built in power amp? My install is pretty much committed. Works fine but the RL channel is not sounding anymore.
@@dragonrider9051 Well with surface corrosion look like some aluminum rectangle thing. For my 96 Ford E150 it was on the passenger side panel right next to your right ankle or foot for example
@@ProvoBeastAudio thanks. good info. dont have keys.. ended up simply yanking it out of the dash. :).. was not connected in the back, so.. worked. :) shrug,
I am having a problem my truck doesn't have the amplified System built in it. It just has the two stock plugs and my radio that I have just has two male plugs in it what do I do?
Matthew Alexandre no, I bought the harness that they linked to above and the one for the speakers did not work even though everything was wired correctly. Ended up running all new speaker wire just so I could bypass the factory amp and that’s how I got mine working. Didn’t take me 15 mins to run it all.
It's not the factory one tho, it's a Kenwood after market one. The guy I got the truck from put it in and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get it out to wire up my sub
That stereo is installed to deep. Should’ve been an adapter installed. The screen isn’t able to retract all the way because of it. The owner also will not be able to adjust the tilt correctly because of this. Just sayin.
