Thank you. Also 2 phillips head screws at the top inside of the woodgrain bezel that have to come out first before that pops out. On my '90 deville anyway.

Hey, you actually did help me a lot. I have an 88 Eldorado with the same head unit that went dead. I have a question about a cheap aftermarket replacement. Is this head unit a double DIN or a DIN and a half head unit? Would most cheap modern after market radios work? I could really use some assistance amigo. Thank you.

Brandon here's a rundown of the parts/products I purchased to install the new radio. After shopping around and checking a few places, it was cheaper for me to order everything listed below from www.crutchfield.com. Here's the list... - Sony MEX-N4200BT (Head Unit) -- $59.99 - American International CGM-123 Dash Kit (Free w/ purchase of head unit) - Metra 40-GM10 Antenna Adapter (Free w/ purchase of head unit) - Metra 70-1858 Receiver Wiring Harness (Free w/ purchase of head unit) The installation itself was pretty straight forward. If I recall correctly, you just remove some torque bit fasteners and then just gently pry up on the trim.

Single Din. Crutchfield.com is a good place to research what works for your vehicle (i.e head unit, kit, wiring harness). You can then shop around for the best prices.

Go to to www.crutchfield.com and enter the year, make, and model of your vehicle. It will tell you what head units fit in your vehicle. You can then take that information and shop around for the best deal.
