I cringe at parts of this now, but back in 92 I was pretty apolitical and went out videotaping my Republican college roommate at a Hillary Clinton rally. It was interesting to witness all the little ridiculous clashes. Fred Phelps and his spawn were also an ever present annoyance on campus even back then. It begins with a great old vintage KMBC 9 News promo and a Brandsmart ad

Thanks for posting. I was also apolitical back then only cuz i was 14. I remember my dad totally incredulous at how a "draft dodging hick" could be winning the election LOL! He ended up being a HUGE Clinton fan after 8 years though. Anyways, what the hell was she doing in Kansas? Didn't realize there were any Democrats in Kansas?!?!

Lawrence, where The University of Kansas is, usually goes blue during election time. It's a great beautiful little college town.
