A preview for the final round of the 1992 World Rally Championship, which promised a title showdown between Carlos Sainz, Juha Kankkunen and Didier Auriol. Originally broadcast on Saturday 21 November 1992, the eve of the rally start, and produced by BBC Top Gear Rally Report.
Presented by Steve Lee, with additional reporting by Barrie Gill and Tony Mason.

You do a superb job of uploading RAC Rally Reports from back in the day. 1984-which ever event you are uploading in the future. Have many of the years reports on VHS and it is nice to watch them in digital format on here. If only we could be able to go back to a particular year and watch the RAC as it was again.

15:49 - Mike Nicholson, better know as Derek Bell's co-driver in the 1988 RAC when he was famously wired for sound and was trying so hard not to swear. "OH DEREK!"

The glory year's of a truly great event before the sad decline of what we see now...the FIA's criminal decision to take the event to Wales alienating thousands of fans and lost revenue still gripes me to this day.how on earth did they think it would be better!?.the ironic thing about it is the rally use to go through Wales anyway so why change it.having lost interest many yrs ago because of this decision it's so good to see the rally as it should be.sadly a lot of the classic stages if not all are now silent in the last wk of November with only memories of the yrs gone past.sad.
