This 1992 Mercedes-Benz E500 was modified by RENNtech to their E60 specification in the early 1990s. The modifications were performed under original ownership. The body is finished in black pearl (199), and RENNtech fitted the car with a post-facelift front end and color-keyed the lower body cladding. The O.Z. Racing multi-piece wheels measure 17×8.5″ at the front, and 17×10″ at the rear. The cabin is upholstered in black leather with dark-colored wood veneers on the dash, doors, and center stack. The car is equipped with a vintage car phone, heated power seats, automatic climate control, and a power sunroof. The original owner had the 5.0-liter V8 modified by RENNtech, increasing displacement to 6.0-liters. Per documentation from the tuner, the conversion cost just under $19k, and in conjunction with the installed carbon fiber airbox produced approximately 390 horsepower. Other modifications include a defeat switch for the Acceleration Slip Reduction (ASR) system, modification of the transmission for first-gear starts, and fitment of a limited-slip differential. A set of RENNtech sport springs and two sports dampers are fitted.
