I did this with my 3rd gen. I'm having an issue with a clunking sound on both wheels. It looks like the slop in the rotor wheel stud holes are moving even after torking over 100 ft lbs. Did you have issues with this?
what if my IROC third-gen has discs but I want to swap 98 LS1 rear brakes do I still have to cut the flangs need a list of parts to remove LS1 car that I am going to need thanks
I ordered the set from Hawks Motorsports, they seemed a little short still but I was able to get them hooked up and they work as advertised. I think they were 100 probably more now
I want to convert my 86 camaro 9 bolt which has opposed disk brakes to 89 camaro disk brakes with calipers on the same side of axle . What do I need for that swap thanks
The factory proportioning valve were the same for disk disk or disk drum from 90 up. I also installed a spring it the p valve which helped a lot. Car stops fantastic now! Better than a 1LE for sure
You must have just watched the intro. This is a very detailed video on how the do a drum disk conversion not on removing axles. So thanks for the comment and sorry you didn’t have the time to watch the whole video.
