I like to drive manuals here and there but idk about all the time! Lol I learned at a young age myself cuz my cousin had a 5 speed Acura Vigor! And yeah she got some good mileage on her and alot of em were some hard driven miles! Lol
You're right! Hondas are known for being good cars! Well this one is proof cuz I used to drive it haaard when I was younger! Lol And no telling how the person before me drove it! You don't see many cars this year and with this many miles on the road! And oh I can dabble a little here and a little there lol Grateful for the capability to do such! Appreciate cha!
You did a nice repair job. I thought your car sounded pretty good especially since you have not been driving it. Love the sound of machinery that runs good and I am so glad you found the brake problem. Hopefully it wont cost too much, but it will be much cheaper than fixing you up if you had had an accident. Thanks my Sister! I'm a tiny bit of a mechanic! Lollol and yeah to the normal listening ear, second gear could easily be missed as it even had me fooled, but the car for its age, runs good indeed thank the Lord! And like u said, I'd much rather have a mechanic bill than an accident bill! Lol it was nerve wrecking how I coasted on by the drive way cuz the car wouldn't slow down fast enough! Dam you pulling a lot of wires , and its still running. You might have been able to get it repaired as that cap was leaking as could be replaced along with other ones. Your having fun all the same , but did you bother to get diagnostics read in case it has stored faults. Honda nope ,but a 1989 Mitsubishi lol. No brakes but did you check brake fluid level to see if dry ? , If pedal has gone more likely burst / corroded brake line or a flexy hose burst and brake fluid all around so easily noticeable.

Nice also coll that you still have your first car my first car was a 2015 dodge dart talk about a piece of garbage gotta be the worst car ever made, one of the problems was the transmission they all had issues you’d put it into reverse and it would go forward so with that being said I couldn’t park it in the driveway I’d have to park it on the street there where other issues relating to how it drove I probably had to get it towed like 3 times in less than a year and then one day I was getting ready to leave for work and I walk to my car and the drivers door is caved in the lady who lived right next to me came flying around the corner in her big transit van and ran into my car took it to the repair shop got if fixed but as we where heading home from the repair shop the temps where almost maxed out so we took it back in and something to do with the cylinder head and some other parts where cracked so at that point I got rid of it I now have a 17 Hyundai sonata awesome car

I have a manual release button on my gear shift for when it locks up, you got something like that? It's kind of a bypass thing...I gotta 2000 Toyota Camry, only 240,000! lol!
