i've been drooling over the ~idea~ of this record for so long, only having access to two songs that kyle had uploaded. i never thought this day would come...it's like christmas!! @@VektroidLive
All the great music channels have been ruined by useless ads. I hate trying to enjoy such treasures only for them to be interrupted by some bs ad, advertising some useless product.
Sounds just like your favorite signature "soundscapes," as you aptly put it, Kyle. I hadn't been familiar with this particular group--until now. Thank you for sharing this. Great traveling music! Blessings to you & all, and a joyous holiday season!😊🎈
Top favorite of mine from “ the Era.” I am Misty eyed upon hearing this after a long period. Evocative! E. Kallins wrote the theme music for Life styles of the Rich and Famous TV series. I can hear the similarities. “ Red Skies” has a Pink Floyd vibe to it… nice. This was a “ Flash in the Pan” release it seems. Would have been great to hear more from them.
Steve, you may like to check out my reply to houlgravely above. I think you may enjoy the suggestions I made in support of the music by Steve Morse (completely missed out by the New Age/Jazz stations during their heyday). 👍
I immediately click every time there is a new notification from KJCMusize because I know there will definitely be new music in the collection that will make my day more enthusiastic. I feel Special EFX and PMG vibes.
Recently discovered your channel and subscribed. There is a treasure trove of music here, most of which I've yet to hear before, including this album. Great music.
On Red Skies, I'm listening in my head the Great Gig In The Sky lyrics: And I am not frightened of dying Any time will do, I don't mind Why should I be frightened of dying? There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime
Hey, so good to see this pop up! Hope you've been well. I got this CD from you featuring a few songs a while back. Great tunes on the road especially. Shall catch up further soon.
This one has jumped into my top 10 smooth fusion albums. Thank you as always for sharing Kyle. Current top 10: 1. The David Blamires Group - s/t 2. Ken Navarro - The Grace Of Summer Light 3. Valeriy Stepanov Fusion Project - Album No. 2 4. Teller & Kallins - s/t 5. Dancing Fantasy - California Grooves 6. Pat Metheny Group - We Live Here 7. Nonlocal Forecast - Bubble Universe! 8. Laszlo Bencker - Back To Love 9. Christopher Franke - Pacific Coast Highway 10. Brian Bromberg - Magic Rain
Another artist whom didn't get much exposure either as a New Age or Jazz artist is Steve Morse. His whole album "High Tension Wires" blew me away. I was introduced to the album by the track "Ghostwind". "Moduc" and "Endless Wave" along with GW was missed by the Adult Contemporary New Age/Jazz stations during their heyday in the early 90's. Most likely because Steve was associated more with his rock credentials. He definitely is in a niche of his own. The song 'Migration" from "Major Impacts" exemplifies that. I'm familiar with about half of your list and love those selections. I will have to check out the rest of the songs on your list. Thanks! 🎉
