What especially sucked is that this win would have given us a 13-3 record for the season and the #1 seed in the playoffs. We wouldn’t have had to worry about Montana and Allen unless they had beaten Buffalo (one less nemesis to worry about) and we would have played the Raiders instead in the divisional round. This hurt a LOT more in January ‘94 than it did in here in week 3 😞
@@josehinojosa9752 Yeah and that TD they called incomplete didn't help. Who knows if they go undefeated the rest of the way if they win this game though!!!
hey dude, is there any chance you would have 1986 Oilers/Dolphins? i lost that one and have been trying to track it down, think it used to be on youtube at one point
Textbook example of how a supremely talented Oilers team beat themselves. Lining up offsides, failing to stop on third downs, cheap penalties, not running crisp patterns, etc. On the stat sheet, they won big. On the scoreboard, a different story.
Agreed bob..i grew up an oilers/ bills fan ..but the run and shoot had its flaws..but it was more bout jim eddys defenses not getting stop when it mattered most
If Houston, at any point, but together some thing that resembled ball control to shorten games, they might have won a playoff game once in a while and not had the losses they did.
@@tiatrips right. I forgot the Redskins or Washington or Commanders or whatever the hell we’re supposed to say now. I actually have one of his football cards from when he was with them.
I didn’t think he was “great” at the time. I thought THEN that he was OK. But RU-vid has allowed us to see what I would say is his hay day of the AFL late 60s. Which was much better and cooler than Curt Gowdy, Pat Sumerall, etc.
