@@drewscoggins3309 Forgot about that. This game is a good example of how scary it is when the big Florida schools keep their instate talent. Between FSU, Miami, and UF, the state of Florida dominated the 90s when Nebraska wasn't on the other sideline.
20:18 That commercial break theme is iconic. ESPN really stepped up their college football production in the mid 90s. Their Saturday night games always felt and were presented like a big deal.
@@davidc.992 I agree to an extent. The Rock was a decent college player, but he wasn’t cut out to be an NFL star. Given how incredibly successful his acting career has turned out, I suspect that he now doesn’t regret being beaten out of a starting DT spot by Sapp.
@@davidc.992I agree and I think that also takes away from the genuine greatness those Miami teams were. He was basically just a big guy with the build of a bodybuilder playing a little bit of football. Even his movies are tacky as hell.
I watched this game at a bar and as the only Cane fan, got heckled by the bouncer all game. I bet him $50 Miami would win. After they won I collected my $50 and walked out on a $150 bar tab. Lol
