Maybe he was getting into character.... whining all the time and crying about how he hates what he has to do. It was a method acting. He's such a genius.
I always wondered how Johnny Depp wouldve been as Lestat but he turned it down. I wouldve payed good money to see a young JD and Brad Pitt in a film together.
@@tiaaaron3278 Louis was troubled he was suicidal Louis was but was too scared to actually do it he was guilt ridden over the accidental death of his younger brother during a fight and then on he was getting to brawls at bars and hoping someone would kill him because he felt he deserved to die for what happened to his brother and then Lestat came on the scene and I must say Tom was at his height its sad how he has fallen anywho Lestat basically made things worse by dooming Louis to immortality as a bloodsucking vampire Louis did not want to kill people especially innocent people like Claudia Lestat did it to keep Louis bound to him
I was reading the other day online. Brad did not enjoy making Interview With The Vampire because they filmed only at night into the late late mornings. He tried to buy himself out of the movie but couldn't thank god he played great in the movie.
Running Bear it wasn’t just the late nights. That made Brad miserable it was the make up process (hanging upside down. ) the contacts made it difficult to see and they were uncomfortable . Plus Louis was a depressed character and it’s hArd to be in his mind frame for 6 months when it’s not your own mind set it takes a toll. I am happy he stuck it out. I can’t see anyone else playing that part.
Tyler Buttery i believe Brad didn’t say that, i don’t believe in all things i read by the internet. anyway as no reason to Brad say that after so many years, and in the interviews like that he said is a great movie.
Running Bear I'm not sure, because I only saw on sites that are unreliable and written, never saw in any interview him saying this, but if he spoke or not does not matter, what matters is that he did an excellent job in the movie and is a excellent actor.
When seeing this movie in theaters how did the crowd react? Im interested because theirs no testimony after the movie appeared in theaters so i wanted to get a firsthand reaction
@@oz968 well I was 15 and my boyfriend drove myself and his cousin an hour and a half into the city to see it because we were rural and had no theatres and a few minutes in he saw the names come up Brad Pitt Tom Cruise Christian Slater Antonio Banderas and he turned to me and said oh this is why you wanted to see THIS movie and went to sleep his cousin and I just woke him up when it was over to drive us home I enjoyed it very much.
@@oz968 I saw Interview in the theater about 25 times, once it hit the cheap $1 theater we where going a few nights a week, some nights drinking, some nights weed, then shrooms, acid, blow etc we and a few friends saw it on every drug we could, I'm not joking
1. He was on the edge of superstar fame here. 2. He outshone Tom Cruise which a very few people could and which was almost mission impossible. 3. He was great looking and so cool
If you are russian greeting from serbian brother. Now, I do agree Tom is generally bigger star and it is due to many reasons, scientology, looks, hard work, and he chooses mainstream action movies such as Mission impossible, top gun etc to remain on top. On the other side Brad is an actor, just like Leonardo, they choose interestig roles such as 12 monkeys, shutter Island etc.. Tom has never been a real actor, he never convinced me in a role. He is simply movie star, probably one of the 10 greatest movie stars of all time. Brad and Leonardo are only among top 100. I say that Brad out shone Tom during period when he was in marriage with Jolie, that is during Troy. And he outshone him right here, at the premiere of interview with vampire. Look at this very carefully: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2axDiDX08Q8.html Tom one second of camera attention. Almost nobody could/can take attention from Tom as Brad did it there. That's what I am talking about. One more thing, although everybody will agree that Tom is more than great looking due to personal good looks and few plastic surgeries (nose etc) do you think that there is something "annoying" in his looks? Do you think that there is something hm... neurotic in his eyes?
Deksi D tom cruise maybe a better actor but when it comes to the looks Brad pitt is much better looking than tom cruise he makes tom cruise looks like an average looking guy no offense it's just facts:)
Grigori Rasputin1990 Tom cruise was only once sexiest men alive lol and people forgot about hes looks after that but brad pitt was twice sexiest men alive!!! people never forgot about him He's known for he's good looks he's a sex icon in Hollywood Just like George Clooney ask anyone :) and nicole Kidman was only pretty when she was younger and Cameron Diaz she's ugly as fuck like always lol ask anyone and Katie Holmes was pretty when she was younger but now she looks weird lol and Penelope cruz she's not that pretty to be honest and Angelina Jolie she's known for her good looks she's also a sex icon but now she's alright and Jennifer Aniston was always hot and she still is hot :) everything I just said is just facts in Hollywood :) but u can still have ur own opinions on who's better looking cuz it would be a sad world if we all find one person to be the best looking anyways peace dude :)
zwko streets He is high as f*ck. That’s for sure. Just compare to this behaviour to the kind he shows a couple years later for Fight Club or The Mexican.
When the interviewer asked "How was it working with Tom Cruise?" He replied, "Absolutely great. I'm sorry people wanna make this story like we have problems but he is the best. And you know we really did a good thing. And we don't wanna ignore everyone else like Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater, Kirsten Dunst... they gave it all..." The music is so loud in the background that you have to strain your ears to listen to the whole thing honestly...
@@SpiritMQ Those rumours must have been pretty annoying to him at the time. Even after this, gossip tabloids kept making up stories about Brad and Tom even though they always seem like they are on good terms.
Brad Pitt was in his prime when he did Thelma & Louise Interview With The Vampire Legends Of The Fall, The Mexican, World War Z, he looked so good here but his looks are fading now and he looked better back in the early 1990s and now he has gotten older. I remember the hype that Interview With The Vampire got back in 1994 and I loved Anne Rice and I read all of her books, and Kirsten Dunst was amazing as Claudia and that was her breakout role and she was only 11 at the time. I saw the movie like everyone else I liked it and now 2018 it's so different now its almost like a wasted old movie. I wonder if Anne Rice will do anymore novels I would like to see the Wolf Gift into a movie! About Werewolves.
he looks fucking smoking for his age. Do you know how hard it is for men to keep belly fat off their body after the age of like 40? Their metabolism is fucked by then so its so hard. The dude is in his mid 50s and Hes fit as.
Come on with him ..HE may be a little lookalike but he is not brad pitt especially in his prime ( fight club etc) ..Probably the most pretty man ever seen and i m str8 .I dont say He i ugly but pitt was unmathable
My god he so so clearly detested working on this movie. Poor guy. And poor Louis! I still feel a bit like we were robbed by ending up with an actor who had no love for the character
