I’ve always liked Brad Pitt, but I really love who Brad Pitt has become. He’s a man that has embraced everything about his true self. I really admire him.
Brutal Honesty - I think it’s more about respect than “love”. He’s worked hard at his craft and deserves the accolades he’s receiving now. There’s nothing wrong with admiring someone who contributes to this world.
Not only you but I admire him too and I didn't grow up in the 90's generation to see him becoming a famous actor. He's ana amazing man with a wonderful talent.

That's what i wanted to believe my husband was doing when our first child was born. But alas... It was an hallucination. He was with his sister talking about how balloons damage the environment.
I don't think he's nervous, he's just being careful with his words, mostly thinking while constructing the right sentences in his head based on what he actually feels. Putting emotions into words is definitely not as easy as one may think.
@@wildkeith it was just a normal gesture when talking to people and it looks casual and relaxed to me as people normally do feel comfortable moving their hands while talking either in sitting or standing position. I do that too sometimes to help me think in choosing the right words. You can choose to just sitting straight the whole session but to me it will look very robotic, awkward and more nervous as though sitting in a witness stand or something.
@@dealeviosa8468 You can tell from interviews that he's not very intelligent. I think he's aware of that fact and it's what makes him nervous. For years he wouldn't do late night interviews. His manager probably told him it was bad for his image too.

He usually is very aloof and speaks succinctly on most topics because he had been a man who concealed much, sort of like how he portrays many of his characters in film.

Coolest guy ever. I really admire his humility. I'd love to have him as my friend. I know exactly what he's going through in this interview. The battle between him allowing us to see his sensitive, shy heart vs the social perception of him as a macho egoic Hollywood superstar. It's a massive daily struggling, hence the escape into substance abuse.

His voice sounds like it's shaking and he's nervous. He seems very anxious, fidgety... There is a level of vulnerability here I don't think we've seen before from Mr Pitt.
Precisely. He has to watch every word. You notice he is even looking off to his publicist (most likely). The interviewer was very deep in her questioning when Brad obviously would prefer to talk his project and the present moment, not encounters many years prior.

MAT T This she’s just Christiane Amanpour a veteran in journalism, shes a big deal and has been for 30 plus years. Don’t know if this is the case for Brad but she is really good at her job and she may intimidate some, and not just someone like Brad, anyone in his position. It’s good for Brad as he knows how she is or he wouldn’t have sat down with her for a personal interview.

I think we’ve far too long thought that men are suppose to show no emotion, when in reality they are jus as human. This is a nice interview, and I think he’s probably a great guy . I wish him much continued success, in all his endeavors.
Great interview she asked some difficult questions but still honored Brad, not just wanting to invade his privacy. All his challenges have not made him bitter but better. Beauty for ashes. Easy on the eyes still!
Brads always been a little shy and reserved when it comes to interviews that’s why he’s never done a whole lot and has amitted to that. Especially here since he’s being asked very personal questions- he’s careful with his answers and I respect his privacy. People get confused when you say an actor can be shy because their job is so public, but there is difference between that and a one on one interview with someone. Brad gets shy and a little nervous, he’s human. I think he’s making more of an effort lately to put himself out there and plug his films for the studios and filmmakers. Great guy, love him.
He was always involved in his "crafts". He even went to design school. Learned how to fly a plane.Explored photography. Built up his production company more. Produced some really important. films. Acting is really a small part who he is.

I think being married to her would make one want to drink! His choice of course, but they started their relationship based in dishonesty. He was married. He hurt someone terribly to be w/her. Who knows what unconcious inner turmoil he might have had as a result. Again, self inflicted. But I also think she could be a very difficult, demanding person to live with. Their parenting outlooks were very different. Big trouble was brewing w/6 growing kids. I'm sure he surpressed a lot to try to keep t/ peace & keep hanging on. (i.e. "Oh yeah, another drink sounds like a real good idea!").

Guess looking at her thru the bottom of a bottle distorted his - and perhaps your - perception Stop believing the B~S you read in tabloids ... she has always treated Brad with kindness and support, and ONLY after Brad went berserk several years ago in a drunken yelling tirade aimed at his oldest son on their private plane... who was just trying to protect his mother.... did the extent of Brad's out of control abusive alcoholism reach the media - yet fools like you want to blame the very people who suffered the most due to Brad's addiction. Also, your uneducated 'blame the victim' mentally is cruel and long outdated. Brad by his own admission has been abusing alcohol and drugs most of his adult life - and even apologized to Jennifer Aniston for 'checking out" of their relationship by hiding behind drugs - rather than deal honestly with their issues. Keep in mind the expression "MEAN DRUNK' came into being for good reason. Most drunks are angry, obnoxious and aggressive and a NIGHTMARE to live with. The damage they inflict on their children ... will last a lifetime. Brad now realizes that - too bad that concept is beyond your understanding.

I think Brad Pitt is still not over Angelina Jolie. I have a feeling he's the reason why they haven't finalised the divorce yet - he's probably holding off on signing the divorce papers so he can have a hold on Angelina Jolie and makes sure she doesn't run off overseas to live her life with her children.
Love seeing him embrace the nature of his life journey. It illustrates that he has grown and gotten more appreciative of his experiences and how they have mould him to be the individual that he is today. It's a good thing you feel that way, because very few things are about women. Men dominate almost every sector out there including film, radio, religion, music, art. etc. Rather we should be saying, not everything has to be about men.
@Brian Neary Ever hear of the experiment where the participants are shown movies in which have about 25% women in them, and the participants think that the movie is dominated by women. When clearly it's not even close. It's similar when you turn on the radio and hear four consecutive songs by women (which rarely ever happens btw) and you think that the radio is dominated by women, even though 90% of the songs played are by men, and you never even notice it in the converse because man is the default and usual. We rarely notice the default. Open your eyes. Look around you. Start to really notice. Men are the default in religion, court, political, radio, movies, TV, art, sports, health, history, etc. and pretty much every area. Women take up very little space in almost every sector you look at. Sure, that's changing, but not quickly enough. Just look at film, women make up only 30% of speaking roles.
