I bought this car because of the unique way they solved the headlight problem. That backflip gives me a half chub. Its even streamlined when its open.

My favorite of all Corvettes!

never had any trouble with the two i owned and great gas mileage besides. i would tell people it was my economy car and they would laugh, but i was serious

It doesn't need to. But the front and rear insignia have the Chevy logo emblazoned on the cross flags, along with the wheel centercaps.

It’s says Chevrolet on the bumper between the lights in the middle

+sputnic I think for now the market is fine cause there is such an overabundance of them but I feel like they will slowly start to rise a little in pricing when some of them start to gain such high mileage over the future years.

Manny Melgoza very cheap, alot of it will depend on your age, location, and how long youve been driving, im 21, i have a 96 C4 and i pay about $130 a month, mind you i live in Florida which has higher than normal rates, just get a quote, these things are relatively cheap to insure

I pay 35 a month. I'm 56 no tickets. I do own an Escort Redline. I strongly recommend the Redline. Over mountains, around corners. Get highway detector, not for the city.

For the money,my LT4 is pretty quickedy. Some other cars have been surprised.

@@paulmoss7940 lt4, thats a '96 though, right? 340 horse, 6 speed? this '94 is 300 horse. the lt4 is a special version. that and the zr1. but i think I'd just rather get a c6 base than a c4 zr1. they want about the same money for similar performance. might as well get the newer technology. i bet for a clean lt4 with say 55,000 miles someone would want 15 grand. zr1 probably 22,500. but you run into the same thing with the lt4 and late model c5's. you could get a clean, say '03 c5 with 55,000 miles for 15ish grand. similar performance. you gotta be real partial to that year or body style because that was the car in high school or college.

@@craigsbuyer2270 it's only 300 horse and around 3400lbs. weighs close to my ecoboost mustang. now I'm not gonna say the mustang is faster but at the very least it's close. and then you start throwing in coyote mustangs and ls3 camaros and scat pack challengers pushing 485 horse. these cars have 8 to 1 pounds to horsepower ratios. that '94 vette's got like 11.5 or something. they make 3500 lbs passenger cars like Toyota camrys with 300 horse. that's just too close. back in '94 and even well after passenger cars had like 120, 140, maybe 175 horsepower. camaros and mustangs maybe 260. gt mustangs still had 260 horse in '04. so back then a late model c4 was still about something. they're still vets and folks still can modify them.

@@senorpepper3405 330 HP, most Dyno more. Mine was 352. Just a fun car. Bought mine in Fla. 49k,all stock ,for 10k. Jmho,96 best C4. No denying the LS is great motor. I like C6 also. backyard mechanics like me can work on older cars ,new not so much. All cars have their quirks. Love my old C4.

Averi Friendly couple of reasons, first off a lot of them have a ton of miles on them since they are over 20 years of being on the road. Second, just like any car they depreciate fast even if it’s a corvette. Still very nice cars though!

Also because Chevy manufactured 358,180 for this generation's 13 model year run. Generally lower mileage cars in this generation that haven't been sold and resold(which is not unusual for any Corvette) can be purchased for a decent price(considering the last model year, 1996, sold new for $50,000 bucks fully loaded in convertible guise). I bought a mint 95 c4 for 8500 with 47000... Polo green with beige interior. They arent really fast but really fun to drive...

@@paulmoss7940 my sources come from two different publications. Mainly, Cor-vette specs by Michael Antonick (also publisher of Corvette Black Book). Be reminded if a production Corvette was shipped out to Callaway Cars(it was counted as a car produced off the line there in Bowling Green).
