PCV Valve change on a ford ranger, universal on most ford ranger models, except the location of the pcv valve may be slightly different. Very simple fix, with simple tools such as a pair of pliers.
This is a 3 liter, the intake manifold looks completely different. My coworker and me both have our rangers in the lot now. A 94 and a 2002. We both have the 4 liter.
What is the little tube right above where you are working the has a bolt stuffed in the end? My son's 1994 Ranger has nothing attached to that port and it sucks air. When you cover it with your finger, it lowers the idle and almost kills the engine.
The branch actually wasn't on the PCV on this Ranger, and I just matched the PCV at the autostore. I don't believe the tree pops off, but they are sold without the branch as well.
