Lol, thank you very much for posting Stern 94. I agree with one of my fellow posters below in that this is one of the best Stern eras. Brings back a lot of fun and funny memories as I remember hearing a majority of these segments when they first aired.
and if fred HAD invited howard and all the rest, they wouldn't have gone, or they would have bitched about having to go. they're never happy. they always just attack each other, no matter what.
howards relationship with fred is the best two schmucks at wccc and fred was kind to him and helped him with menial tasks out of the goodness of his heart and became a millionaire because of it
Thats true...John always wanted to be in the fab five...never could make it in..great picture...rather have John in fab five and have Robin not be there ever!
They all lucked out one way or the other. Especially Robin. Her quick ascendency up the radio News ladder via affirmative action then hooking up with Stern. Fred too. Playing sound effects made him a multimillionaire. Ain’t hating Just saying. Gary’s financial success was due to his loyalty. Marci Turk initially wanted to axe him.
G. Gordon liddy used to follow Howard on WJFK 106.7 in Washington DC in the late 90s. And G. used to dress up in a nice suit every day not just when the cameras were there. G. and Howard became friendly over the radio and did each other's show.
You must not listen to HS right now because it's just as good, if not better... And Robin is still there so not much has changed except more A list celebrities which is a plus
@@ToxicAvengerCleanYourMind Don't think Howard and his writers are as on the edge with the comedy as they were decades ago... and his wack pack characters are not really used anymore, some even deceased now.
I get more scared the more I study Fred / Eric ha. I have had fairly similar parallels with how he is with family, friends and relationships, isolation at times.....even a name change.
Eric & the ultimate passive-aggressive "&%# YOU!" to Howard & Robin. (Although, it would've been too far to travel for Stern and "Quivers: A Lie" would've cancelled at the last minute due to emergency cat surgery.)
Just like his name change, "I did it for me, just like you got a tattoo for you." Of course Eric is a mess and more relatable than KC with his elementary story where he refers himself to the third person to degree (Kyle, KC, and Armstrong). It's Eric's lost child in persona
In reality, Fred is probably the most normal of the group. Think about it. We all know that Howard is a nut on every level. Robin as well, probably worse than Howard.
