1994 Jeep Cherokee XJ Roof Corner Rust Repair - Welding in handmade patches. 

I like to see the process so long as there is descriptions along the way. Time lapse works too when you repeat things. So longer videos are fine. The bodywork looks great for an area you're not gonna see a lot. And it's a daily driver!! The repair looks great and I agree it's a better colour match. Look forward to more on the old Jeep. Nicely done. I have 2 XJ's, one of which is gold on white, the same as yours. It's a '94. 4dr, 2WD though. The other one is a '91 Limited, 4dr, 4WD, Solid White. It is a brighter white than the '94. I've always described the '94 as 'off white' I suppose. Btw, neither XJ is rusted at the back of the roof. There is a bit of rust on both in a couple of dents, luckily not too bad yet. My 99 is rusted in the same places. Also rusted on either upper corner of the windshield.

Hey its a jeep anytime you have two pieces of metal welded on top of each other is an invatation for rust same goes for behind trim, rack mounting points anywhere water can sit and trap dirt or salt will be prone to rust... I use both corroseal main ingreident tannic acid, I also use phosphoric acid aka ospho or better yet concrete /paint prep and etch..or milkstone remover avalible at feed stores it 80% phosphoric acid and a good etching primer... The epoxy 2k stuff is to finicking and may not hold in some circumstances causing double work.... What do you want from a vheicle they weld the doors hinges on!😂😂😂
