Wow.....I'm pleasantly shocked. 😂 You're da man. This is a miraculous job. 😂 I have a pair of black J5s in pretty much good shape except for the sole, which has crumble apart. I wonder how much it would cost to restore, replace the soles?

I use the adhesion promoter on both surfaces, when applying it I tape off any painted areas and outside edges of the midsole as well as the uppers of the shoe because it can mess up paint easily
First off, great work!!! I wanted to ask you if you used something special for painting the midsole (additives or mixing or prepping)? Because I tried to paint a Nike Craft General Purpose shoe, to change the midsole from brown to kind of yellowish, and it cracked like an old fella haha the paint job didn't even last three wears and cracked mainly in the toe box :c
Before painting I make sure to remove all of the original factory paint, you can use acetone or rubbing alcohol for this. After that I apply adhesion promoter then paint (I’ve seen some mix a promoter in with the paint as well) . Can you send me some pictures of the pair on instagram or email?
Thank you, these are completely wearable now. I pretty much only wear older restored pairs like this and they hold up the same as any pair from the factory
I have a DS pair of Black/UNC 5s with the UNC stitching. If worn the midsoles with come apart. Can you fix em and make em wearable? Also have a pair of DTRT 3s as well.
