I absolutely loved these figures as a kid. I brought them to kindergarten-2nd grade with me everyday and maybe switched them out with a Batman or toxic crusaders etc. here and there.
I have the blue, black, green and white ranger. The left leg of the green ranger has long been broken already but I'm still keeping that piece of broken leg.
I was a little old for their target audience, but I still dug them. I had some of these a couple of the original larger figures. These had a nice gimmick, but I didn't care for the look of them. I know it's for the gimmick, but they're just so...wide LOL. The larger ones seemed a little big, but looked cool enough. But, I loved the Zord toys. Still do actually. One thing I wish they had figured out was a way to make smaller, but decent Ranger figures that would have fit into zords. I had the Panosh Place Voltron when I was kid and it being able to do that blew my mind. Thank you for the video, sir! Love all of the Retro Shiz and would love to see more!
I only had the yellow ranger as a kid, which was a tad disappointing as a little boy. It was what I call a "grandma's house toy," meaning it didn't see a lot of play. Wish I had picked up some of the reissued figures they had put out a couple years ago
To be honest I never liked these figures they're chests were too big the heads were too small. they like look wicked Goofy and dis-proportioned. trust me I love goofy wacky but you just didn't hit that sweet spot for me I preferred the larger power rangers figures. I had and still do have the green in the white and the red.
