When Emig was on top of his game and feeling it, he was almost unbeatable. If McGrath hadn't been in his time, Emig would have had that place, although Emig usually got the best of McGrath outdoors.
Let's see Henry has the number 1 plate, Lamson has the pionts lead this year Hughes took the overall this race.Do you need to know who else.Doug Henry came into the circuit aftet Emig and won outdoors title before jeff did.They didn't call him Mr.125 because he was the best 125 rider it was because he was stuck in that class for so long.
@@kevinlong4084 Im not talking about the 125, although all the riders you mentioned all were great on a 125. Fact is though, if McGrath hadn't been there Emig would have been number 1 racer in the world, and he still managed to be number one in 1997 when McGrath switched to Henry was right there too, I won't take anything away from him. A great racer.
