I remember the term 39 cents more for a super size combo meal at McDonald's.... I don't think people use the term supersize my order anymore not even in food chain corporate marketing .... I do miss the 1990's 🤭👍
@@VHS_Vampire1988 No way. Circa 2004 supersize effectively got what in today's terms we call "cancelled." Society had become incredibly self-conscious to the obesity epidemic in the first world with kneejerk reactions to transfats, obesity lawsuits that got so outrageous that around 30 states in the US had to go out of their way to legally bar the wild litigiousness, until ultimately it was all but socially shamed by popular documentary installments like _Super Size Me._ In short, it was eventually no longer popular nor financially practical to push the supersize meal.
In 1994 . I was 11 years old i had a huge crush on a 16 Year old but boy it was fun and wild watching Beavis and Butt-Head and grudge music 🎵 now that I'm 41 wow it feels like 30 years back amazing 😂😂
I've been a NASCAR fan since 1990, and while I liked the Kyle Petty commercial, the 1994 NASCAR Pontiac Grand Prix was one of the ugliest models in Cup Series history!
Does anybody remember a commercial from this era where a bunch of kids convert like an El Camino to a drop top? No voice over I think it was for a clothing brand?
@@eldestofthree262 It was for BellSouth Mobility. I'm blind so I can't tell you what the ad looked like, but I can describe the audio. There was some music with a lady singing, "This is what life is" in a really creepy voice, and then she basically yodled the slogan "Never stands still".
Instead of loading NASA's 1977 Voyager spacecraft golden record with all that crap they should have loaded it with all these commercials to better get a idea of the human condition on earth but then again all of are radio waves flood into space already so i retract this comment.
