So from the beginning when you punched it. The sled bogged really bad then took off. Never sit there say. “ i think somethings wrong” and keep riding. Immediately shutdown and inspect carbs etc
Stator common on cats, small diameter winding wire, no circulation cooling in flywheel housing, heat not good for stator, some guys drill a couple holes in front and back of housing, rewind a stator is best fix, Blaine partner in Michigan does great work! Warranties too.
