1995 Arctic Cat ZRT 800 Triple.MP4 

The main things that go wrong with the triples are: 1. Water pump. When you replace it, use the kit for the 2002 T-Cat which includes the only year they used a plastic impeller 2. The drive bearing on the clutch side. When you replace it, take off the outer seal so it is greaseable. 3. Stators on the triples die as you now know. 4. The throttle safety switch, kill and tether short out so bypass them ASAP. The 1995 has slightly larger transfer ports than any other year Arctic Cat 800 triple.

ZRT's are not junk

It's a 95/96. Those years had these graphics. ZRT came in 4 or 5 different flavors with graphics, i think these are the best looking.

Nick Crown a stock ZRT800 with a modified exhaust. Will not do over 115 mph. Top speed is about 107, maybe 110 maxed out. But over 115. No dont think so.

I had a 97, mine did the same thing. Bogged out died wouldnt start. found out that the ground that bolts to the recoil had broke. Fixed it it and never had another problem

These sleds are definatly worth it, in fact 95 to 97 are the best ones. Whoever told you they blow up and are not worth it, are full of shit. They just dont know a great snowmobile when they see one. I had a ZR580 twin and a ZRT600 triple. Best sleds ive ever owned. I love these year model snowmobiles. Ive never had any issues with mine.

97 hood(decal) 95s are less graphic

Stators on cats seem to always Go, So That's something Normal that goes on them. There a Great Lake Racer aswell.

When you had the Exhaust Pipes off,. To do the work on the Engine Why did,nt you paint the Pipes. With high temperature black Paint ?

I can see it doesn't have ETT so its not a 97. That "RPC" sticker on the windshield indicates it has a reichards performance center (RPC) stinger but those are stock pipes

Well its not piped! Those are stock cat pipes. Although it does have an aftermarket "stinger" and unless the hoods been changed its a 97

That is a 1996 ZRT 800. I have a 1995 and my hood is different, and my Exhaust pipes are a little different. then what your Sled has

That is a 1997 zrt not a 1995

An EXT 550 wont even hit 115.. 105 if your lucky. They have no more power than a ZR500.
