I have the 1996 Dodge Dakota 4x4 slt. It's not easy finding parts for it. Nice truck for sure. I would love to have the one in this video as well.

I have the same truck as a daily driver right now! Mine is burgundy! Has the same gray interior. I love my truck! I did take off that awful pinstripe as well.

My dad almost bought a 1996 one used very similar to this one in 1997, but ended up getting a 1993 Jeep Cherokee 4-Door instead.

Thats what I have currently. 5.2 single cab, short bed, 5 speed 4x4. with 153k on it. Beautiful truck,no rust, and live in New england near coast. Things gonna last till I die.

@@wll1500 You got rid of it? You monster. Mines ridiculously reliable. I have more issues with my 2014 dart than the dakota. I added headers, Hughes intake manifold (nice $600 hunk of aluminum) and a Flowmaster 40 and an 8 3/4 rear axle. Beautiful truck, runs and drives like a new truck. Plows like a tank too with a 7ft plow.

@@tomc8157 I got rid of it to help pay for my flight training. Between flying and a nice truck I take the latter. However, I often miss it. It was a quirky truck sometimes but that ol' 3.9 didn't die.

Fyi .. to kill the Buzzer .. (its a fuse panel under the dashboard .. that's how you pick what buzzes or not "seat belt, door, lights .. all sept fuses on my 94 Dakota

Very Nice truck they don't make them like that anymore. Now a days they go way overboard with the technology in vehicles. Don't need all the things that vehicles have now. I'm old school rather just have basic vehicle without all those in unnecessary things that you will never use anyway

I put a double din navigation android stereo in mine,..... a lot of cutting & re located the ac vents & ac controls, in order to mount the Radio as high up in the dash so I don't have to look down. Looks like it came from the factory. I bought mine in 2002 & still have it. 240,000 hard very hard miles & runs strong MOPAR!!! 🤘🐵🤘
