My truck sat for 5 months. 7.3, Upgraded starter with new glow plugs and harnesses with a white rodgers relay. Took less than 5 seconds. It was also 16 degrees.
I wonder how many old guys have these 7.3s sitting around and. Struggling to find 1 😑 wouldn't be a problem if Ford still made manual transmissions......
I usually say that after my first failed attempt 😅 (well it's a lot colder than I thought out ) .....and then I spent $13'000 on goodies now it starts beautifully . And will last me the rest of my life or intill Brandon bands diesel trucks ....
@@MotteBlock New , pistons, rings Forged Rods, 300% injectors , stage 3 Turbo , valve springs , pushrods , machine work , porting on heads cnc fab stage 2 Hpop, cnc oil cross over kit , regulated return , cvd fitting upgrade , up pipes , all new wiring , all new sensors , air dog, beans sump , tuning , hydra , built zf6 , south bend etc etc etc it Adds up quickly but I think that's pretty fair to build a 7.3 Powerstroke and it be pretty stout .
So what's the deal with a bunch of dead batteries I know they're not made as good as it used to be but I just don't quite get this and you should know that your alternator will never fully charge your you will stressed out your alternator unless you decide to put it on a Barry charger so it can get fully charged
Idk why but man this really makes me miss my 6.9 idi so bad😔 makes me sick to see her set in the back yard all this time. Bought her a year ago its an 84 f350 dually 4speed with only 86,000 og miles. I believe it got air in the lines and may need an ip. Man did she sound good when running
Glow plugs need going thru and new batteries. What if you had an emergency? Any car/truck needing jump start needs some money spent on it. Nice truck otherwise.
He said it was 29 degrees, you don’t need a block heater or glow plugs really for that temp. My truck is down 3 glow plugs and starts up without being plugged in at 15degrees out, with only 1 cycle of plugs waiting like 30 seconds
@@markashlock9017 lots of conversions though, there’s a 4x4 factory conversion dually for sale in my area right now. Harder to find one that thats a 4x4 converted in to a dually than it is a dually converted to a 4x4, the 2wd frames aren’t fully boxed as far as I’ve been told
@@broncobusting69 Jan - Feb for us average 5-15° F But it's always windy AF so the wind chills like -35°. We do a lot of hiking, so the crunchy snow is better for us, it's more predictable.
God Bless You all. All Glory to God. Repent and live for God. Romans 10:9 “if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God rose Him from the dead you will be saved.”
