Check out the special SportsCenter report from March 18, 1995 when the Michael Jordan announced his return to the Chicago Bulls after a brief 17-month retirement. 29 years ago, today.
I’m still a loyal fan of his Royal Airness after being in the film Space Jam with Bugs Bunny when representing the Chicago Bulls and the Tune Squad and facing the Monstars after accepting the basketball challenge and stealing the talent from the best NBA players of the world.
Finally ESPN throwback post something worth watching. The 6x NBA finals champion and 6x MVP! No game 7! Didn’t even attempt a 4peat on either occasion! The greatest athlete in the history of time! The one the only!
Y'know, it counts as a "game 7" even if it happened in an earlier round... and it ALSO counts as a "game 7" even if it happened in an earlier round and HE LOST that particular game 7 instead of winning it.
With that weak competition no wonder. Nobody was near the Bulls, something like 17' and 18' GSW and with half of the league struggling to dribble the ball with weaker hand. Suuuree. I guess if KD stayed with GSW you would call him the goat because he would have 6-7 ring, but competition matters.
@ayemoe5842 BREAKING NEWS: LeBron stalker found in RU-vid comments section on video of *checks note* Michael Jordan. Calm down guy, your role model is a clown. Just get over it. 🤤🤤🤤
@@ayemoe5842 Because before then, he had a team of cokeheads. Many of them served long suspensions after the league was forced to crack down in 1986 after Len Bias died.
When it was first announced. I said to a friend, sometime in the future, we are going to find out that whole baseball thing Jordan did was a means to serve a 1 year suspension from the NBA for gambling on the Bulls. Nearly 30 years later and nothing more than speculation. If my theory was true, I think something would have come of it by now.. I was wrong.
And LeBron has been on mad PEDs. I’ve claimed this since 2012! Those questioning this claim are the same people who argued with me when I claimed that Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, and Sammy Sosa were on PEDS years before it became a story. They all laughed and argued that “there is no way baseball stars would need to take PEDs because baseball is about hand-eye coordination.” And when I was proven right, they were all quiet. Then they argued with me on Lance Armstrong. Once again, they were proven wrong.
People say the 90s weren't different- look at Chuck's interview. If LeBron really did leave early and come back 1-2 years later players would be kissing his azz on Twitter 24/7 even from the bench when they should be playing ball
@@Jive33 If he was truly suspended, why was he allowed back IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEASON? Why not just serve the full two seasons? Because he wasn't suspended. He was in a weird place mentally after his father was murdered. Then he got over it, won more, and multiplied his legacy.
