Had Jordan not retired after his initial threepeat that Bulls team could have won 8 in a row and had he also not retired after his second they could have won 10. It is still almost incomprehensible that he retired in his prime and lost 1.5 years of what would have obviously been huge stats plus probably a couple of championships. That's actually false. The Bulls were obviously a championship team during the first 3-peat , but they weren't unbeatable. The Knicks and Pacers both gave them good series. If Jordan doesn't retire, then most likely the Bulls resign Horace Grant in 1994. With him under contract, the Bulls don't get Rodman in 96. The Bulls also don't sign Ron Harper in 94 as Jordan would still be on the team. Do the Bulls beat the Rockets in 94 and 95? The best thing for the Bulls was Jordan retiring, as it let them reset. MJ the goat Grudges motivated him and he would prove he is the Goat as no one could stop him. He trained harder than most ppl of his era and that’s what a lot of the great sportsman do who reach the top of their game. His rings prove he is the greatest of all time
@Daveyboy_GolfR
@Daveyboy_GolfR Год назад
@@marksy0873 Bill Russell had 11 rings but he also only played vs 7 other teams and also had four other Hall of famers playing with him. However MJ went 6 for 6 in the finals, out of 12 seasons with the bulls. That's 100% in the finals, and a 50% championship ratio. While only playing with one All Star throughout his entire career. Let's compare the apparent #2 GOAT LeBron James who has played with 20 plus all stars including scoring Champs, League MVPs, finals MVPs, multi time Defensive Players of the Year, all NBA and Def players, multi-time rebounding leaders, all time triple double leader, all time 3pt leader, etc etc. Bounced around the league, using his influence, status and checkbook to create situations that would stack the deck in his favor toward winning a championship. And after leaving Cleveland to create his super team which should have been an easy championship.... he had what's officially known as "the worst collapse by a franchise player in NBA finals history" vs the inferior Mavs in 2011. Averaging 16 PPG over the the 6 game series which is bout half of what he averaged throughout the regular season, and an almost impossible 8pts in that pivotal gm4. He has the most finals losses in NBA history, and the third most Finals series losses with 6. In 2013 finals vs the Spurs in a game 6 where they were facing elimination, in the final minute LeBron took the ball out every time. He had back-to-back turnovers followed by an airball 3-pointer. And then in his 4th and last chance bringing the ball up Court, he bricked the final shot, but we know that Ray Allen ended up with the rebound in his hands and saved LeBron.. That is also considered the worst final minute performance in a win or go home finals game. A turnover, followed by another turnover, followed by an air ball 3pt, followed by missing the final shot to tie the game and send it into overtime. So yes that is the worst final 60 seconds I've ever seen by one player in the postseason. MJ has also had bad games, but NEVER a bad series. For example, In the 89 ECSF vs the Knicks he had his worst shooting game ever with 15 PTs in gm3, yet he ended up with 36ppg/9.5 RPG/8.3 APG with 2.5 SPG and 1.3 BPG over those 6 games. Putting up over 40 in 3 of those games. So yeah even MJ had bad games, rarely but yeah he had them. But he never collapsed throughout the entire series. He never averaged less than 27.4 PPG in a series, Where as with MJ, all of his 6 championships never even went to a game 7. And even tho he didn't make it to the finals in his first 6 seasons, From his rookie season 1984-85 until 89-90 (those first 6 seasons where he did not make the finals) MJ played in 11 playoff series (51 total playoff games) and in those 51 playoff games, he avgd 37.1 PPG, 7 RPG, 7 AST, 2.3 Steals and 1.3 Blks. No one has ever averaged those numbers in even one playoff series, yet those were Mike's numbers that he averaged over 11 straight playoff series. When he played the Celtics for the first time in the 85-86 first round of the playoffs, he put up 55 in game 1 and 63 in game 2, and they still lost 3-0. So it didn't matter what Jordan did. Didn't matter if he scored 100 points because there were 4 other guys on the floor who stunk. As soon as Pippin and Grant were drafted in '88, and he finally had a number 2, it only took a couple more seasons to grow together and win the next 6 of 8, becoming arguably the greatest team in basketball history. -Michael Jordan is proven to be the greatest scorer of all time, -greatest defensive guard of all time. -Top 3 greatest perimeter defender of all time. -Greatest playoffs/finals performer of all time. -Greatest pickpocket of all time. -Greatest blocking guard of all time with 893 -Greatest clutch player of all time. -Fiercest competitor of all time GOAT

I can appreciate his supernatural skill on the court, but I was NOT a Jordan fan. Anybody remember the playoffs in '93 when the press said he was in Atlantic City til at least 2:30am? He made the statement that he left the casino at 11pm, was in his hotel room by 1am, and anyone who said differently was lying, and he would sue them. Problem is, I worked graveyard shift security at Bally's Grand Casino that night. I watched my squad supervisor, who was assigned as his personal escort for the night, walk out the door with Jordan some time after 3am. Bally's Grand told all of their employees that we would be fired if we spoke to the press about this incident, and no other casino would ever hire us. The fact that he used his name and power to silence the press, and protect his image, made me lose all respect for him! If he said "Hey, I made a mistake. I shouldn't have stayed out so late, and I'm sorry." I would have accepted that. It made me sick to hear little kids saying "If Mike says he wasn't there, I believe him, because Jordan doesn't lie!"

Casinos always offer privacy and special treatment to high rollers. The Casino told y’all to not snitch or else not Jordan. Because they want his money. So he didn’t want to admit to being out late gambling before a big game. What a villain!! Silence the press.. the people have a right to know the truth!! Jordan was up past his bedtime!! Lol He’s poisoned sanctity of little kids. This is disgusting..
