First time time that I see Serena with a Turbodiesel engine, here in Europe or Spain at least (country where it was manufactured for the European market) had a 2.0 (67hp) on 1992 model or the 2.3 (75hp) on the facelift of 1995, both are naturally aspirated diesel engines with no turbo, They also came with 2 gasoline engines, a 1.6 and a 2.0. And never offered an automatic transmission
@@jdmcarandmotorcycle The turbodiesel engine should have come to Europe, they see a much more powerful engine and it goes much smoother, the aspirated diesels that we have here are very weak and slow, although they are very reliable in their defense.
Tech stuff no one would even care about. But anyway, these little JDM diesels will be very happy in the US freeways as they will never have to suffer carbon buildup from low speed cruising.
I remember being in one with 5 guys towing a 1.5 tonne boat. Up hills you could get out, walk to the top and still have time for a cigarette and chat before it arrived 😆
Do you know what the maximum towing weight of the Nissan Serena 2.0 Turbo diesel is? I would like to be able to pull at least a 1200 kilogram towable caravan that has 2 berth capacity
