Michigan had some great "Football names" on this team. Irons, Sword, Steele, Swett, Payne. Even if their names are not the same spelling of the words they sounds like, it is still awesome.
@@irishcole3516 Which team is that? The one announcer from that era who I think was super biased was Brent Musberger. He absolutely loved him some Buckeyes!
@@Jon.A.Scholt he seemed to 😂. My team is Notre Dame and when they played Michigan or USC he was always an honors alumnus to me.. so I don’t have the done memories that other people do. Is it petty? Maybe, but I tend to like announcers that are unbiased. I like Gus Johnson and also loved Berne Lindquist as well. I can stand Joe Tessitores act either.
@@irishcole3516 Everyone certainly has their preferences and their favorites! I'm just bummed we have to watch replays of old games while we wait 8 months for football to start back up!
