Fun fact. This limo was possibly the fastest one ever built, with a rumored top speed of 228 km/h. It was also the first presidential limo that was purpose-built for the job from the ground up.
I'm sure many of you are also aware that FDR used a Cadillac that was confiscated from Al Capone's seized assets when they got him on tax evasion. (If I'm not mistaken) . Capone had an armored car before the Secret Service acquired one for The President. Even by mid-1930's standard, the car was a beast.
Presidential Limousines are not to be sold due to security concerns. How were they able to get a hold of one? The secret service usually uses the ones taken out of commission for training and they run them into the ground.
Although I'm not keen on it, this was for sure one for delivery for the Secret Service. Know a guy in the Technical Services Division (the USSS branch that handles limos) and he told me that he could remember it well. President Clinton got a 1993 Fleetwood model, which he used until the end of his term in 2001. However, it's always tradition that when a new term (half-way) goes over, the limo is changed. This car was bulit in 1996 to be the official one to the 1997 Inauguration onwards (Clinton's second term) ; but the Secret Service declined to use it since it wasn't much of a change. It stood in the garage for a few years before being sold. That's the only case I ever recall to a official presidential limousine delivered to the Secret Service to get in public hands. Those things were bulit by a R&D GM division, where this thing has the chassis of if I'm not mistaken a 3500 Silverado. Although I can't say until what caliber that armor stops, it's more armored than anything offered in the armored car market, even in 2020. The only cars more "advanced" to it would be the other official limos that were given to the USSS. Hope this helps!

If it was real Jay Leno would have brought it full stop & all the other presidential cars or historical car's that way you have it , like he said he buys car's for what they are, as far as historical Value, which in turn means it will always make $$ for him & a tax right off as well.
ROSH 454 & 12,000 pounds, which is to say you have what maybe around 6 TONS, so it would need at least near 1,000 horse power to make the car move at speed if it needed to get going in a hurry, totally fake as far as it a original Presidential CAR, maybe a copy of 1, which these days its not had to produce, especially when you have computers & scanners that will copy almost anything you want, also if original then a Museum would buy it as part of the presidential collection of cars ? also the biggest give away NO Presidential SEAL anywhere on the inside of the car or the outside of the car ?
At 12,000lbs she ain't exactly light on her feet is she, 650hp it must have been detuned because that's not enough to get that cow moving, we're talking more like North of 1000hp and monster torque numbers also. What a waist of money on that vehicle.
