Forgot Peja was drafted in 1996 I still remember that one year he was 3rd or 4th in MVP voting and it was deserved. 1996 was an insane draft man

All the guys I grew up with.. man time flies.. ai my fav all time, kobe right after... got love for nash, Marbury, Ray Ray, big Ben Wallace, Peja, Jermaine "the other" O'Neal, hell even d-fish with his clutcheness.. this class was beyond amazing

I was born in 1991 my first basketball memory was playing some NBA game with La Kobe Fisher Horry Jones and I think Shaq. Growing up he wasn't "our Jordan" many kids from my generation would say he's better and if not better he's obviously closest to MJ. And no doubt anyone from my Generation would call him our hero our role model our inspiration our superstar!!! When I got the news my exact words was "please be a joke" followed by "Are you fun seriously!! ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!!!!" I broke down and I don't shed tears even at funerals of people iv actually known. Im forever changed by the news. To the Bryant family my deepest condolences, your in my prayers and thoughts daily id happily trade places so the world had its Super Man and Super Girl along ektb the others
