@@lukemorse1 good to see you still around man, I remember those hours long Skype sessions with Chris and Ste fondly …glad to see you’re doing well and still at it occasionally!
Thanks a lot man! yeah, its nice when you dont have to replace a million parts to get them working again. Ill take it where I can get it. Hope you have a Happy Holiday!
Thanks for the video, Luke. I want to get into PCB repair, but it just seems so complicated. I have no idea where to start. Anyway, have a great holiday season!
Its my pleasure! To be honest, staying on top of electronics repair is like studying a language or IT work. You have to keep doing it and stay on top of it. There are a lot of off the camera things that have to be done as well but if you are willing to give it a shot (and the voltage level is safe), try fixing something small or simple and work your way from there. I hope you have a great holiday season as well!
I see what you mean by that. This one is definitely better than pit fighter though lol. Its not one that I had ever seen before either until now. It's pretty neat though
Thanks my friend! yeah, doing ok here but yeah, the simple stage clear by doing nothing. Its like putting auto drive on mario kart 8 and watching the game play itself lol. Happy Holidays to you too!
omg lukes alive sheesh been a white since you posted a video brah , nice dianostic work mate, logic probing with a osc takes for ever to diagnose QQ :)
lol, still here. Yeah, its been a while but had a couple of repairs here so thought I would go for it. I love to use to old logic probe when checking for the old cpu heartbeat and activity on the lines when needed. Its nice when you just look down at a board sometimes and go, hmmm, crusty solder joints and lifted legs, lets get that fixed first. Then that is all she wrote. Glad to have this going again .
Who knew there would be a Judge Dredd video game? Judge Dredd : It's a lie! The evidence has been falsified! It's impossible! I never broke the law, I AM THE LAW!
I replied to your post yesterday, it was on the OW video. As I mentioned there, its really hard to take in projects and send them back especially with the way the postal system is here. It is very strict unless you are a bit company or you do it by container ship.
