My 89 speedo stops at 85. I have had the truck going back up the other side at 0 and went quite a bit past it. Dont know how fast i was going but it was well past 100

My 95 c1500 takes about 4 or 5 minutes to easily get up to 100 then screams down the road at about 2700 rpm but stays in its power ban and holds its speed as long as nobody slows me down my truck was clapped when I bought it so I work it hard and fix it as stuff breaks. 1 year 20,000 miles 4000 cash in it, might take 10 minutes to get to 60 when towing 6000 pounds but once there she chugs along would like to put it in a shop and have like 2 to 4 thousands worth of work done to it but the rear end clank from 2nd to 1st sometimes and just don’t know how long to expect the motor or transmission to last

Mine used to cut out at 100 like shut down

A true test can't have a check engine light on especially with these trucks she needs a good tune up

I have a 93 I got it to top out at 86 mph any faster and I would be finding throne rods in the oil pan 😂

I hit 100 and cruise in my 5.7 97 easy

I have a 98 same 5.7 vortec , tops out at 95

That gas pedal aint to the floor. I drive a 1996 C1500. It goes quicker than wat you're going when the gas is to the floor.
