Just bought the same Daimler in Spruce over Oatmeal with 4 heated & electric adjustable seats a sunroof etc. Really top machine! Mine has done 138000 km and we just got back from a holiday trip: Drove about 2000 flawless kilometres! One thing: That gearbox switch "S" and "N" stands for sprightly and nonchalant!!!
Would be a great wedding car and soon pay for itself. A beautiful car, one to look after but to use, seems a shame to just store somewhere as an ornament, cars are meant for use with fluids circulating, lubricants getting where they're supposed to and components moving and working, tyres not getting flat spots etc. Would need large garage, but what a car !
Forgot to say if I was in the market for an absolutely brilliant and mint condition Big Jag or Daimler then I wouldn’t go anywhere else than The Malton Motor Company.
Morning it for sure is a beautitul car jaguars are i love my bmws but jaguars have a place in my heart they really are beautiful a stunning car thats for sure.
Hello 🙋♂️ What to do with such splendid craftsmanship ?? Suggestion 🤔💭 Mmm - You scream, I scream, we all scream- ICE Cream 🍦 !! Or, A Sunday day drive to the seaside with a picnic and a couple of sun 🌞 chairs - before heading back to the garage and popping it back, with less than a fifty mile drive !! Just enough to let the engine PURR 🐈⬛ and let it know - that it is still being cared for !! Thanks 🙏 James ✌🏾
What is the difference Daimler? I never did understand its a jaguar body but doesn't have the hood ornament for some reason, it looks like a vanden plas with the picnic table s

Daimler were a separate company in their own right and was bought out in the 60's - while there continued to be some unique Daimler products (and IIRC, Military Vehicles and Buses) like the DS420 limo which was produced right upto the millenium, as well as the Turner designed V8 2.5 motor which was fitted to the mk2 Jag bodywork to differentiate the Daimler version, (also fitted to the Daimler Dart (Sp250) sports car), Daimler became more a Badge Engineered Jaguar, though only for the deluxe levels of trim - Originally the top "Sovereign" level was exclusively Daimler, and talking of sovereigns HM Queen Elizabeth tended to go for Daimler rather than Jag...
