I just bought my Repsol kit for my 97' F3 model. Which the 97' and 98' models were 10x better than the 95' and 96' models for many reasons, 2 reasons being the tail light was changed and had intagrated blinkers(earlier F3 models were still using the F2 tails) the whole tail system was revised and changed.Plus the Airbox was completly revised giving a HUGE gain in power and cooling. Not to mention diff frames, diff sprockets F and R. Swing arms, and brakes got larger. I could keep going.
I got the same bike and was thinking of buying the repsol kit for mine, would you recommend it? How was it to fit to the bike? Would really appreciate your help, thanks mate..
No adjustments, you can buy them from ebay, dhgate.com is my personal favorite. Listen to video and he will say he LAID it down and baught new fairings. And if you knew anything about bikes(shouldn't even own one if you didnt know this) the 1995-1998 F3 Models NEVER came stock with a Repsol Kit. There RR's(race replicas) were SJE(Smoking Joe's Edition) Then the 954's 900rr's and 929's were castrol bikes. Repsol came out in the 04' and up models. But you can buy kits for these bikes.
that is why u specify rwhp. when u say it has 95 hp, people r going to think to the sprocket or fly cause all the hp ratings has been for sprocket or fly. i have done my research.
Sources: I have owned a 1995 CBR 600 F3 smoking Joes RR. Which had 31,000 miles and still ran STRONG, (if you find a well maintained F3 with over 30k do not be scared, I see them run 100,000 miles.) I also currently own a 1997 CBR 600 F3 that had the Black/Whit/Red color scheme i liked it but I like repsol more this bike only has 16,000 original miles and has ALL teh work youd evr wnt don to it. I aso own a 600rr Track Bike. And I still respect the HELL out of my F3 it is quick agile and twitchy
It idled a bit better when warm, but even after syncing the carbs it still had an uneven idle. Always started and ran fine though. More into supermoto these days for the "fun factor".
