I’m currently having a 2001 450 ES completely rebuilt. It was my uncle’s and when he passed I ended up getting the quad gave to me from my grandmother. Really miss them both, I grew up riding that quad and Now it’s mine. I’m so excited to see it look like it’s new! Good inspiration from this video thank you!
Thanks for posting! I’ve had my 95 TRX400FW top end overhauled with a new piston and cylinder sleeve. Next year I’ll strip it down, repaint and go through the electrical system.
I have a 98 400fw I was actually thinking of trading in. Mechanically it's great. This makes want to keep it and do something crazy to it. LoL 😀 Nice Build 👍👍
I just got a 1995 that's in way worse shape than yours. I am hoping I can bring it back to life. I am putting in a 450 piston and rings and hope it runs after that its all cosmetics. Did you get new plastics? I am also wanting to convert to disc brakes. Nice Job!
I wish I had more info! It looks like a homemade plate on the bottom. Took a generic plow and bent the arms to match the plate! I hear moose stuff is good
The lift was already on it when I bought it. It looks like it is just a cheap lift that moves the shocks farther away from their original location. I would like to eventually buy lift shocks for it.
@@VPCustoms how’s it been holding up for you? Any issues? Looking to put a cheaper lift in my 400 but am hesitant because I don’t want anything components to break
