I have the same bike but in Scotland it's called the ZZR1100. Thank you Kawasaki Heavy Industries for making my 97 D5! My Remus 4 into 1 was meant to be 👌

🤟🏻😎🇬🇧I just brought a 48000 mile minter for just under 2k with a full service history and owned for years by a 70+ year old man then a 50+ year old guy for the last few years and it sounds and runs spot on and scares the hell out of me 😂 I have owned many bikes but this one will stay with me 🔥💥🔥 👊🏻😎🇬🇧

Every time I go to buy a new bike I make sure kaplan has done a video on it. That’s how I know it’s a legit bike. Going to look at a 1994 zx-11 in a day or so. Now I’m even more excited.

Had a zx11 back when I was in my 20's. Have a zx14 now, derestricted, exhaust, power commander, air shifter, dynoed 192 on a hot day. Scary fast, more so than the rupp.

@@kaplancycles7665I don't know whether the 4 into 1 into 2 on the C model (right side exhaust being kind of an auxiliary one) was a good idea or not. I just like the originality/rarity of it. I'll keep it from disintegrating for as long as I can.😊 Back to the bike featured here. The paint job looks fantastic, the 4 into one probably brings the weight down at or below that of the C model. The RWHP figure sounds about right considering the modified exhaust system. I don't like the aftermarket tainted screen one bit even though I suspect the original one is no longer available. Overall a great tribute to a legendary bike.

I had a 1998. Sold it to buy mine now ex-wife's engagement ring. Big mistake. This is a great bike with plenty of low end torque and high-end Power Band from the inline four. It's a tiny bit on the heavy side but it makes it very stable on the road. Long wheelbase comfortable riding position. Great overall bike

Yeah my dad tossed his 95 385 feet down the road and launched it pretty much 12 o’clock at the drag strip back in the day

I got the C model, original exhaust, never had problems changing oil filter, but if there had been a 4 in 1 mounted, the exhaust would be in the way

Where are y’all located? I just got my dad’s bike due to the hurricane and it’s the same bike. I want to fix it up before I ride it full time. The hurricane destroyed their house but I couldn’t let the bike go. I know it’s his joy and I took my motorist test on that bike

Great channel my son and I watch your videos regularly. Geoff there mentioned micro drilling the pilots and reducing the sizes of the main jets. What was the size of the micro drill and the size of the smaller main jets used?
