Indeed he still does. There was a period when he would put on an American accent in a lot of interviews. For the Batman films it was because he didn't want to alienate American audiences who might be put off towards a Brit playing an iconic American superhero. And other times he'd put on an accent because he'd be experimenting with it, or still be 'in character' for whatever role he was filming at the time. Bale finds it amusing that people now think of him as American lol. He's recently shifted back to his native accent for interviews.

@@levitation2114 what do you mean? That film was great. I can't explain how much I love it. Sure it was low budget, you can feel that while watching but it doesn't make it any less wonderful. And even though it only took 27 days, it didn't feel rushed, it was a simple idea, a simple film but really beautiful to me. But then that's just me I guess
